What is the Harding Handbells?
The Harding Handbells is a free to participate community musical program run by the Harding Recreation Committee. It was created on May 23, 2023 by majority vote of the committee. The Harding Handbells is always recruiting new members of any age above kindergarten with no previous musical experience necessary. The program runs from July to February with performances at recreation committee events Touch A Truck (September), Tree Lighting (December), and Winterfest (February).
Harding Handbells is currently lead by it’s director, Mrs. Joyce Becker. Joyce is a music teacher with over 20 years of musical education experience. Joyce uses all abilities equipment and works with every player to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience. The assistant director of the Harding Handbells is Mr. Arthur Becker.
